Leading Oil amp Gas technical safety consultancy A Leader in Safety amp Risk consultancy services within Oil amp Gas Transport and Nuclear spread across the UK Europe and UAE are searching for 2 technical safety consultants to join their oil amp gas division in the Netherlands Den Haag. With an excellent reputation as an extremely technical consultancy in the highly regulated industries they employ and train the most high calibre safety amp risk professionals in the market. This successful consultancy with over 20 years experience have been recently acquired by one of the world s largest environmental consultancies employing nearly 13 000 professionals globally this acquisition is helping with business development financial support and shares it s successful and experienced business strategy. The choice to expand their team has been decided as a result of an increase in workload winning an exclusive contract with the leading oil operators in the Netherlands where they have 5 years worth of work which could easily be serviced by an additional 2 technical safety consultants. Having this workload they are also aiming to try and provide extra technical studies to their clients that they currently don t have the skill for. The work of the Netherlands oil team mainly consists of safety design amp engineering SIL HAZOP QRA and consequence analysis of onshore facilities FPSO s worldwide and a small bit of offshore work. The ideal candidate for this position will speak Dutch and would be able to bring additional technical safety capability to offer a greater variety of studies to their clients such as ALARP HSE case safety management systems Loss prevention RAM FTA etc. It is ideal to have any of these studies but essential to be competent in one or more of the below - Quantitative Risk Assessments - Consequence analysis - Safety design - HAZOP studies chairing or participating - HAZID studies chairing or participating - Safety Integrity Levels studies It is preferable that applicants are at a senior consultant level but due to the market shortage of technical safety engineers they are willing to look at individuals with less or more experience as long as they have a proven track record with the studies listed above.
