Electronics Technician - The Electronic Technician is responsible for carrying out all electronic repairs maintenance upgrading R D on Marine Assets equipment and assist on various project related work ensuring that the work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner. Onshore repair and maintenance of a wide range of diving equipment Hyperbaric welding equipment ROV Survey equipment cable lay trench equipment and other remote system assets e.g. Matis etc. Pre-mobilisation preparation and assembly of diving systems Hyperbaric welding equipment ROV Survey equipment cable lay trench equipment and other remote system assets e.g. Matis etc Construction of various electronic components and equipment. Commissioning of assets when and where required. Taking ownership of the job tests assigned and requisitioning of equipment necessary to complete the job. Responsible for planned maintenance of various workshop equipment. Ensure work area is kept clean and free of hazards. Contribute to the general tidiness and upkeep of the workshop as a whole. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS EXPERIENCE AND BEHAVIOURS City Guilds Parts 1 2 Certificate in a relevant subject OR Scotvec Stage 1 2 Certificate in a relevant subject OR Equivalent Civilian or Military Qualification AND OR have completed a recognised Trade Apprenticeship in a relevant Trade OR Degree in relevant field May have AODC Senior Technician Certificate May have current Offshore Survival Certificate May have current Offshore Medical Certificate

Under broad direction functions as a technical specialist who makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a far reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities of the company.
