Matchtech are looking for a Lead Piping Mechanical Engineers to work on a project set to be awarded in the next 4 weeks. The project will be with a drilling contractor based in Aberdeen and Matchtech have been asked to assemble a project team of 21 new contractors to start and complete this long term project. The initial phase will last 6-12 months and be the detailed design. Right now our client s client will remain confidential but start dates will be mid-late September. Candidates with a drilling background will be preferred but those with a topside background will not be discounted. Experience in upgrade and modifications of drilling units would be ideal and offshore tickets essential. The project will involve some site surveys so a willingness to do RGIT would be advantageous. Ably Resources are currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a staff position based out of our Clients Brentford Office. The ideal candidate will be qualified to a HNC HND level in an electrical discipline and have a previous track record working in the North Sea area. Duties Responsibilities and Requirements are as follows 183 Ensure that all aspects of Project Maintenance are fit for purpose and are compliant with Company and International Standards. 183 Work alongside package engineers to ensure that all design data is examined before entry onto the engineering mainframe. 183 Ensure that all paperwork and records pertaining to the maintenance are up to date and inputted into the SAP system. 183 Collaborate with the team and management to create new maintenance plans and rework existing policies if necessary. 183 Ensure that Health and Safety procedures are carried out at all times. 183 Interpretation of Piping and Instrumentation diagrams. 183 Experience of working and co-ordinating with other departments is essential. 183 Expert understanding of the Maintenance design and principles of a North Sea Platform specific to hydrocarbon processing that ideally includes high pressure high temperature experience. A major LNG operating company in the Middle East require a Rig Site HSE Supervisor to be based in Abu Dhabi. The responsibilities and duties of the role include o Provide coaching and mentoring to the Drilling Supervisor to set appropriate objectives for HSE management emergency management and implementation. o Oversee and mentor Contractor HSE activities. o Set high level of proactive HSE Leadership for field personnel to follow.o Ensure the HSE competence of contractors through evaluation and audits. o Support Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments for all site activities o Work with Drilling HSE Advisor to develop annual improvement plans for HSE management o Organize audit programs including coordination and recordkeeping of site audits with Contractor HSE supervisors. o Perform regular inspections to ensure HSE compliance. o Provide HSE support to Drilling Supervisor for Emergency Response.o Conduct Training and drills to maintain emergency preparedness.o Organize Conduct training amp coaching to promote HSE awareness and efficiency.o Analyse Monitor amp Record HSE trends statistics for future HSE planning and proactive measures. o Ensure all HSE related information is reported back to Drilling Support Team HSE Advisor .o Participate and Lead HSE Meetings as required by the Drilling supervisor.o Participate in incident investigations and develop and implement actions to mitigate recurrence o Perform all HSE duties in accordance with the company s codes of practice.o Assist with other activities as directed by the Drilling Supervisor The successful candidate should possess the following skills attributes and experiences 1. NEBOSH IOSH Trained or Equivalent. 2. Minimum of 10 years experience working in Drilling Operations with exposure to operating in the Middle East.3.
