Our client is an international consortium of several major Oil Gas companies. They are currently looking to recruit a Planning Engineer based in Baku Azerbaijan. Local Azerbaijan national salary and terms of employment apply. As Planning Engineer your main responsibilities will include Providing planning services to ensure that the agreed schedule for all elements are planned and monitored to enable timely deviations from the plan to be highlighted for Project Management action for possible corrective action Carry out what if planning for scenario planning as required for options Ensure that Contractors planning services reporting meets project and business requirements as per the project coordination procedures throughout the duration of the contracts from Execute to 1st Production Produce schedules for project review for various development options Assist in development of the overall schedules which clearly identify all critical interfaces from procurement and fabrication to installation and hook-up commissioning In conjunction with the Delivery Manager and client project services team arrange for external project schedule risk analysis with external consultant as required Develop Level 1 Presentation Summary schedules as required as well as ad hoc reporting Track PSR ESR register and highlight any deviation in the delivery of the promised materials Maintain a professional attitude Task prioritising skills Structured approach to managing daily weekly monthly tasks Any other ad hoc duties as instructed Participation in any HSE requirements Qualifications and experience required Competent in communicating written oral in English language Ability to work on own initiative Good inter-personal skills. Maintains an organised approach to daily work tasks Computer literate in MS Office applications in particular Excel Primavera P3 planning software Extensive planning experience Competent in Primavera P3 Competent in MS Project is desirable This is a contract position. The salary for this position is negotiable.
