Proactively participate in achieving the highest possible International standard of HSE implementation 183 Analyse the construction estimate liaising with where necessary corporate Heads of Departments HOD for Cost Engineering Estimating Proposals and Sub-Controls to agree the estimate breakdown and prepare a budget for the project that complies with reporting Project Control requirements 183 Prepare and implement site xxxxxxxx and Client cost control procedures and associated cost coding 183 Phase the construction estimate in line with the Construction Plan across the durations of each phase of the job 183 Ensure manhours and related costs are recorded and coded correctly and that timesheet submissions are made as required in order to support cash flow 183 Prepare cost manhour and cash forecasts based on updated progress forecasts and trends 183 Maintain Cost History sheets for every major area of the project 183 Prepare project cost and manhour reports in a timely fashion reflecting the current forecasts and trends complete with narratives and explanations for variances etc 183 Review continuously the current costs of all construction activities against budget and be aware of trends caused by changes to workscope 183 Control variations to workscope and estimate total costs of variations including manhours and manhour associated costs additional equipment materials fabrication and construction costs by xxxxx or other site parties 183 Liaise with planners to ascertain and agree construction progress and thus future invoice values 183 Carry out analysis of trends and highlight potential problems with recommendations for remedial action - on an Early Warning basis 183 Ensure correct authorisation for reimbursable costs 183 Prepare adhoc cost studies and estimates as required 183 Contribute to building a cost conscious attitude throughout the construction team 183 Carry out additional tasks as may be required from time to time by the Business Services Manager 183 Be aware of and identify potential back charges from Client Subcontractors 183 Liaise with Business Services Manager with regard to the contract actual rates and associated data - the final responsibility for rates and all associated data rests with the Business Services Manager 183 Assist in Ad-hoc site surveys of potential trouble spots and estimate cost of various solutions 183 Read understand and implement the Company Safety Policy and the arrangements described in the Company and Project Safety Management System documents 183 Possess a significant degree of expertise in system aspects of Cost Control system software particularly the actual software being used by the Department at present 183 Participate and contribute in all HSE Health Safety and Environment campaigns initiatives and safety meeting as required ONLY SHORTLIST SELECTED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED who comply with required VISA stipulations.
