Link with the relevant Segment Engineering Technical Authorities SETAs to understand Engineering Technical Practice ETP risk-related issues and network on potential exceptions to STPs. Employ risk management on technically significant issues. Evaluate risk associated with each decision or recommendation. Risk assessment and recommendation of action in relation to requests to defer inspection and maintenance activities for high risk systems e.g. SCE. Provide requested technical advice and recommendations to projects and assets within the required time frame. Advise on specification addendum and project specific specifications. Serve as a principal resource to the SPU EA for the development maintenance and continuous improvement of SPU Site Technical Practices STPs and ETPs. Advise on the use of appropriate standards practices and design guidelines. Advise and assist in keeping the ETPs and SPU STPs current and in compliance with best practice and applicable regulatory requirements. This shall be done in accordance with the Site Technical Practice Control Procedures. The Offshore Structures TA will work with Operations and the EA Team to drive compliance with the Group Mandated ETPs. Specifically the TA will interact with the other relevant discipline TAs and engineers in respect of ETP GP32-30 Inspection and Testing of Equipment in Service GP 66-00 Structural Integrity Management System and GN 66-001 GN 66-002 relating to underwater and above-water inspection of structures. Work with operations to ensure compliance with the Segment defined ETPs as required. AzSPU Offshore Structures TA responsibility extends to all offshore fixed structures in the Caspian Sea both above and below water. The remit also includes drilling conductors and their support structure on production platforms and structure supporting guides and clamps for pipeline risers.
