Minimum of 10 years drilling related experience with good exposure to the spectrum of drilling development and exploration and workovers and the roles of office engineer field engineer and drilling supervisor superintendent. This position is specialising in the installation analysis of subsea pipelines flowlines umbilicals and structures. A Senior design analysis engineer shall ideally have - Experience in subsea pipeline engineering including FEED and detailed design and analysis- A working knowledge of various pipeline and offshore design codes and specifications- Experience with recognised industry software packages and tools for pipeline design and analysis Orcaflex - A positive attitude towards learning and keen interest in developing engineering experience in pipeline construction and installation Main duties and responsibilities include - Perform design and engineering activities associated with subsea pipeline construction and installation during tendering and detailed design stages- Provide input to planning detailing and reviewing of technical documentation relating to Subsea pipeline systems Subsea construction and installation- Design and detailing in accordance with acknowledged industry Codes Standards and Design Guides e.g. DNV BS API Client Specifications and Scopes of Work- Review of design documentation including feasibility reports detailed design reports construction drawings design specifications material take-offs weight control calculations etc for pipeline design- Undertake responsibility for production of deliverables which may include engineering support to Drawing Office design calculations specifications procedures analyses progress reports bid evaluations study reports and various 3rd-party submissions- Manage own interfaces with associated subsea related disciplines and understand the interfaces within a project environment- Provide engineering assistance and support during mobilisations and occasional periods of offshore or site working in support of operations as required- Manage technical engineering support to other departments within the Engineering Group and to colleagues in terms of training and mentoring- Input technical aspects of events such as Bid Clarifications Kickoff meetings HIRAs Design Reviews etc- Ensure all relevant health safety and environmental objectives and legal requirements are observed Specified Qualifications for position - A degree in a relevant Engineering discipline is essential.- Candidates with Registered Professional Engineer status or working towards is desirable.- Candidate s ability to articulate learning and training experiences is desirable.- Familiarity with recognised industry engineering software is desirable - ideally Orcaflex Orcalay and SIMO.- It is desirable that the candidate has some experience in the role of a Design or Analysis Engineer previously - not necessarily in the Subsea industry.

Responsible for proper administration of construction contracts and for obtaining all necessary permits Assists with tracking and controls construction schedules and associated costs to achieve completion of projects within time and monies allocated.
