Our client is currently working on one of the most demanding and challenging oil field development projects within the Oil and Gas industry. The size of the project and the demanding working environment our client is looking for well versed staff to get the project moving forward The client is looking for a Senior Process Engineer to work on an Oil field conceptual study and FEED as well with a possibility to progress to detailed engineering through to start up. The Senior Process Engineer will join the process engineering group on the project and therefore must have experience working within a team of engineers with varying skill levels. A Senior Process Engineer must be degree qualified with a BSc in chemical engineering or related subject. The Process Engineer must have worked on projects within the Upstream Oil and Gas industry and must have a strong understanding of Production optimisation techniques and a keen understanding of offshore platforms would be deemed advantageous. Ideally the Process Engineer will have worked on all stages of the project life cycle ranging from feasibility studies through to start-up however a strong engineer who has only worked on some but not all of the project areas will be considered. As this position will involve a large amount of travelling our client would prefer for applicants to hold an EU passport and be willing to travel for up to 35 of the time. The salary on offer for the Process Engineer will better than the current market rate however this will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Lead Drilling Engineer Role and Responsibilities You will be responsible for high level well feasibility studies well planning project risk analysis and cost estimates. In close cooperation with other members of the Drilling and Petroleum Engineering Department you will participate in setting goals and objectives for new wells and subsequently through technical support to the rig operations teams actively contribute to meeting these goals. You are also expected to keep abreast of emerging new technologies and to bring these forth for incorporation into well designs and operations. Furthermore you must conduct risk assessments and cost estimating while capturing lessons learned. You will also be responsible for ensuring knowledge sharing application of best practices incorporation of new technology mentoring of Well Site and Drilling Engineers and providing consistency as well as product quality. Qualifications The successful candidate has good organizational analytical and communication skills. He or She is independent self motivated and quality consciousness has the ability to interact with other disciplines and to motivate people - all with a sense of urgency. We strive to have fun at work so a good sense of humour is also a must. The successful candidate will have an engineering degree or other higher technical background. A minimum of 8 years of experience in the industry is considered a must and part of this should be in the capacity of Senior Drilling Engineer or the like and with substantial well planning experience. Furthermore experience from international oil and gas companies operating in the North Sea and or dealing with extended reach and HPHT wells will be an advantage.

Our Client a Medium size Operating company is looking to identify a Senior Process Engineer. The Senior Process engineer will be a member of the Process Engineering Group. The group supports the corresponding Projects groups Offshore Production and Maintenance Group and undertakes - in close co-operation with other departments - design of new installations modification and improvement projects. Responsibilities The Senior process engineer is to ensure timely delivery of conceptual definition and detailed design for field development and platform modification designs to enhance production and improve safety and environmental performance. Engineering solutions proposed must be economically and technically robust. Furthermore input to HAZIDS HAZOPS ALARP reviews will be required so the integrity of the Facilities are maintained. Close liaison with production projects and facility engineering and local consultants will be required in order to provide a cost effective service. The Senior Process Engineer may be required to lead up to five other Process Engineers ranging in experience from new graduates up to a similar level of their own experience. In such a Lead role the Senior Process Engineer will be required to manage small projects and ensuring budgets deadlines are met. Deepwater Drilling Advisor As Deep Water Advisor you will take up a position within the International Drilling Team located in my client s head office in Europe. You will be reporting to the International Drilling Team Manager and work integrated from the initial well request through detailed planning to the final execution of some very challenging wells around the world. You will become the advisor for - and part of - a small team presently consisting of a number of Drilling Engineers with broad technical backgrounds where it is expected that several operations could be ongoing at the same time either at planning stage or at execution stage. Work scope responsibility The work will entail detailed well planning and subsequent technical support during the execution of deep water exploration and appraisal wells in areas of the world where the company currently have licenses or in new areas yet to come. Such areas would include Angola Brazil GoM and any other area where the company would be engaged in deep water operations. Typical activities include but are not limited to - Support the companies operated deepwater drilling and completion operations on a world wide basis from the global head office. - Ensure that deepwater operations are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. - Manage costs of deepwater operations ensure cost estimates are based on most recent commercial and technical information. - Provide technical support to affiliates for non company operated deepwater wells. - Coordinate contacts with Exploration and other departments to ensure the free exchange of information and the development of programs based on the best available information. - Ensure the technical adequacy of all procedures utilized by the International Drilling Group. - Maintain open communications with On-Site Drilling Managers and On-Site General Managers in deepwater drilling areas. - Advise activities of Deepwater Drilling Engineers and supervise their training. - Ensure the preparation of deepwater drilling completion and well test programmes. - Ensure that final well reports are prepared on each well and that learnings are incorporated into future drilling completion programs. - Ensure deepwater drilling equipment is procured in a timely fashion to the correct specifications and in accordance with company policies and local country regulations. - Assist company in developing deepwater drilling and completion expertise.
