My client a medium sized international operator is looking to secure a senior operational petrophysicist to work on a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off rotation. The role will involve providing petrophysical support for a number of rigs in the Danish sector of the North Sea as well as mentoring younger petrophysicists within the group. The preferred candidate will have some exposure to chalk fields and horizontal wells as well as being very experienced in wellsite petrophysics and MWD. Senior Facilities Engineer A medium size European operator is looking to identify a Senior Facilities Engineer on a staff basis. Full details will be provided upon request but essential responsibilities can be seen below With reference to the project team leader the Facilities Engineer will be responsible for Development of concept definition and establishing processing configuration. Preparing cost and schedule estimates. Preparation of facilities input to Field Development Plans. Provision of facility concept design cost and schedule estimates for potential acquisition activities. Identification of facility related development risks. The position involves bringing the facility projects through to approval by management partners and authorities. The position will also involve the investigation of industry technology developments that may be beneficial to operations. The focus will be on projects ranging from green field projects major expansions of existing facilities modification of existing fields to field abandonment activities. Business travelling must be foreseen. Experience required Successful candidates will be self-starters possess strong analytical skills and enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary environment including sub-surface specialists. Fluent in written and spoken technical English. Minimum education at BSc level.ma A solid background in all project phases is expected. Experience in both green field and modification projects for both onshore and offshore developments is expected. Experience with process simulation is desirable. The Candidate Successful candidates will be working with an experienced highly professional and demanding team and must therefore have the following qualifications Self Starters with strong organisation analytical and communication skills Prior experience and desire to work within a multidisciplinary environment Fluency in written and spoken technical English MSc or higher in Geological related subject Proficiency in creation of 3D geocellular geological models Petrel experience preferred from multi well data sets Able to provide fully integrated geological models for use in reservoir simulation and to describe model uncertainties and limits. Significant upstream industry experience within an operator In addition to the above one or more of the following would be extremely desirable Ability to effectively assess elements of the regional geologic setting that are appropriate for reservoir description Ability to integrate core log and seismic data to define a sound stratigraphic framework for reservoir description Shallow to deep marine clastic reservoir description experience Structural geology competencies particularly in the assessment of trap integrity fault seal and or characterisation of fractured reservoirs Uncertainty analysis for mapping modelling and reserves calculations using geostatistical approaches Ability to define quickly the scope and scale of a study depending on the amount quality of data provided and time available. The Position The successful candidate will be working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team of Geoscientists and Engineers responsible for planning field developments from my clients global portfolio. The fields are primarily located in the Middle East NW Europe and W. Africa as well as an increasing number in other locations across the globe. Work will primarily be carried out in Denmark with occasional short visits to other countries as required.
