Our Client is currently looking for an EHS Advisor to be based in Bangladesh for a 12 month period. Please note this is a residency assignment.Job Purpose To lead EHS within the Bangladesh team focusing on the actions arising from a fatality investigation whilst finding a local Bangladeshi to coach mentor as the future EHS Adviser. Responsibilities Key Objectives 183 Demonstrate the appropriate behaviours and leadership around the EHS and motivate people to lead on EHS 183 Provide active EHS support advice and guidance to operational personnel 183 Ensure that operational personnel are aware of their EHS responsibilities and are supported to meet those 183 Monitor compliance with EHS policies amp procedures and recommend corrective or improvement action 183 Manage EHS related permits and consents processes e.g. EIA Safety Cases etc. 183 Provide EHS input to Contracting amp Procurement processes 183 Develop and maintain country or project specific EHS documents e.g. EHS Plans local ER Plans etc. 183 Facilitate or participate in risk assessment activities 183 Liaise with Regulators or other external Stakeholders in area of operations 183 Support implementation of incident reporting amp investigation in area of operations 183 Liaise with EHS personnel in key Contractor organisations 183 Implement local ER arrangements and ensure adequate provision of personnel and facilities 183 Coordinate tracking and close-out of EHS corrective and improvement actions in area of operations Experience and Education 183 Core level of EHS training and qualifications such as NEBOSH certificate as a minimum . 183 Proven experience of managing EHS in oil and gas operations Skills 183 Passion for EHS 183 Promotion of EHS values and Tullow behaviours 183 Capability to learn and utilise EHS skills 183 Competent with computer packages Business Behaviours 183 Excellent verbal written and aural communication skills 183 Able to work effectively as part of a team 183 Ability to work on own initiative 183 Takes a proactive approach 183 Ability to take responsibility and manage tasks through to completion 183 React quickly amp flexible to changing circumstances 183 Use initiative to ensure issues are overcome 183 Seek ways to find and apply best practice 183 Adopt a pragmatic fit for purpose approach 183 Open honest amp reliable.

Our Client is currently looking for an Emergency Response Advisor to support the Companys Ghana HR Operations in country. Residency is preferred but a 28 28 rotation will be considered. Hours 8 hours per working dayDays 5 days working weekDuration 12 monthsJob Purpose To develop and implement an effective Emergency Response Management System for our Clients Business Unit s Offshore field development work including development drilling installation HUC and post first oil. Responsibilities Key Objectives 183 Contribute to the development of Emergency Response ER Crisis MManagemenet CM policies strategies standards and frameworks processes and for the Business Unit BU 183 Development of ER CM Plans. This activity needs to take into account the following tasks o Meet the requirements of the EHS MS. o Maintain potential scenarios listings for all sites on the basis of risk assessment results. o Preparation of written ER CM plans that take into account the level of risk and all potential business and operation s scenarios. Including global pandemic preparedness. o Maintaining appropriate documented ER link plans bridging documents to address internal and external interfaces Operational activities Main Contractor s Subcontractor s Block s Partners and other stakeholders supporting organizations in-country and regional. o Identify and maintain specific On-scene response procedures and resources required for emergency scenarios that may include response teams tactical support crisis management medical treatment and evacuation personnel evacuation oil spill containment clean up well control search and rescue. This requires special coordination with other in-house specialists. o Maintain crisis management procedures controls and define resources required to address likely company damaging scenarios with regards to media spoke persons investor relations government relations and legal support. This work requires close coordination with head offices in the UK.. o Definition of organizational arrangements responsibilities and lines of communication documented 24 7 rotas of teams and individuals at all levels sites of the response o Maintaining and testing of dedicated or designated available facilities for o Development of plans that address business continuity issues preparedness 183 Maintain a ER CM training exercise program. This includes coordination of the following activity and tasks o Documented schedule of desktops drills exercises o Resourcing of trainers directing staff and associated equipment facilities including their commissioning. o Performing as a lead trainer depending on particular expertise o Testing of ER facilities and equipment o Involvement of relevant key external parties stakeholders including major contractors subcontractors o Documenting resulting lessons learned from exercises and following up on completion of recommendations 183 Networks effectively outside the BU with ER CM professionals specialists stakeholders to identify industry and general trends best practice and contribute in the development of mutual aid schemes plans and local strategies. 183 Also contributes or influences positively in the development of new ER regulatory requirements and provides comments on proposed legislation 183 Maintains the ER CM budget and ensures proper budget execution within limits 183 Ensures that the ER CM management system for the BU is periodically audited and follows up on implementation of recommendations and corrective actions through to completion and close out. 183 Prepare and execute plans for the nationalization of the job.
