Job Title : Welding Engineer

POSITION RESPONSIBILITY Responsible for all matters related to welding and NDR of pipelines on board lay barge Make full review and comments of all applicable technical specifications. Prepare WPS and follow up execution of WPQT in relation with selected subcontractor. Administer systems for the qualification of weld procedures and welders Supervise and coordinate planning with Welding and NDT subcontractors. Define Welding teams in cooperation with Subcontractors. Management and supervision of all Welding and NDT operations on board lay barge. Implement possible re-organization of welding and NDT stations on board Lay barge Manage welding equipment and systems on the vessel and provide primary liaison with CRC Evans. Assist the QA Manager QA Engineer and Section Managers in the production implementation of Safety QA QC and Environmental procedures. Audit Monitor QA and Environmental systems for compliance and effectiveness. Ensure QA records are produced and stored in a readily retrievable manner. Provide regular reports and analysis of QA performance to QA Manager. Control the issue of QA documents within your section of responsibility. Assist in the development and maintenance if Company systems. QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Required Min 10 years in steel pipeline welding experience with Automatic welding sour service and TOTAL specifications preferred. AWS CSWIP 3.1 certification. Experience of multicultural environment. Good communication skills team work capability Experience in oil gas projects specially in offshore pipeline projects. Must be self-driven dynamic and highly motivated.
