MAIN ACTIVITIES Manage in compliance with TEPNG electrical safety rules the daily responsibilities of UPGRADE Electrical authority Close involvement in the CONTRACTOR permit to work preparation in order to make sure the electrical activity is well organized and to avoid any delay in PTW review validation by OPERATOR Participate actively in all UPGRADE electrical job safety analysis Review and validate all UPGRADE electrical de isolations permits for electrical systems that are still under UPGRADE responsibility Attend daily PTW coordination meeting with OPERATOR Carry out electrical de isolations for electrical systems that are under UPGRADE responsibility Perform daily site inspections and audit UPGRADE compliance of electrical safety rules Authority to stop and report any UPGRADE observed unsafe electrical work Maintain an UPGRADE electrical register and record diligently all de isolations and PTW reference s Coordinate daily with OPERATOR Electrical Authority to ensure UPGRADE compliance with SIMOPS requirements Verify that CONTRACTOR and UPGRADE personnel are trained and certified to access work on electrical stations premises Follow up actively punch list clearance during different phases to allow proper integration subsequent shutdown Promote a safety first attitude maintain a high safety awareness and vigilance for UPGRADE electrical activities Support and enforce the HSE project objectives and directives REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND Senior electrical engineer or equivalent combination of relevant experience and training Minimum of 10 years experience in Oil amp Gas Plant construction upgrade commissioning start up and maintenance Minimum of 5 years supervisory level experience able to manage multidiscipline people rigorous good interpersonal skills depict strong leadership and be stress proof Good English communication skills verbal and written

I am recruiting for an experienced Structural Civil Engineer to be based in Nigeria on a Staff basis. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the offshore structural design team on offshore feasibility conceptual basic engineering FEED detailed design projects. Advise on the manpower and skill levels required to ensure smooth execution of the project. Assign work to the project team appropriately. Liaise with other departments clients vendors subcontractors and third parties as required by the project. Participate in inter-disciplines project client and vendor meetings. Overall responsible for the man-hour amp schedule monitoring and control and quality of the work produced. Primary involvement in a typical project includes o Prepare structural design basis structural design specifications construction and installation work procedures and cost estimation. o Perform global in-service analyses in-place dynamic fatigue seismic pushover etc. o Perform pre-service analyses load-out transportation launching floatation amp upending lifting etc. o Perform local analyses and detailed design of offshore platform appurtenances and details. o Prepare weight control material take-off and bill of material reports. o Provide engineering input review and approve 2-D drawings and or 3-D models prepared by the drafting teams. o Prepare scope of work man-hour and material cost estimates for proposals. o Groom young structural engineers and provide advice to peers in his field of expertise. Qualification and Experience Bachelor Degree or higher in Civil Structural Engineering or equivalent. Minimum fifteen 15 years experience in steel structures design in Oil amp Gas industries. Experience should cover at least fifteen 15 years of structural engineering analysis design on offshore platforms with Engineering Consultant. Highly motivated and strong leadership quality. Conversant with international codes and standards - API AISC amp DNV Competent user of structural analyses software - SACS NX Nastran amp GRLWEAP. ABAQUS or ANSYS software experience is an advantage.
