As a Planning Engineer your main responsibilities will include Provide overall project schedule progress measurement and change management leadership and expertise Maintain close liaison with members of the Project Services Develop Level 1 and Level 2 schedules for assigned Project Advise the OBO Project organizations with respect to Project controls tools and reports and Operators efforts in schedule. Supporting the Project Team with ongoing project schedule analysis reporting and Change Management. Develop and document Schedules annual and multi-year and ensuring that these products reflect the approved project Analyze schedule trends develop and review schedule Monitor and report on schedule implications of changes Participate in contract commercial bid evaluations as required Participate in developing Contract Control Schedules Assist management in developing reviewing schedule corrective actions and recovery plans and making sure needed actions plans are implemented. Qualifications Skills and Experience required Onshore pipeline experience required Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering Engineering Technology preferred Substantial prior oil and gas industry experience preferred Willing to work overseas in a team environment Willing to relocate to required project site Strong Influencing Consulting Mentoring Analytical and Computing skills Adaptability to changing priorities Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask and respond quickly to urgent analysis requests This is a contract position. PLANNING 1.1 Conducts total site Health amp Hygiene management in order to prevent Health amp Hygiene exposure giving full support to the Field SHES Director. 1.2 Establishes Health amp Hygiene rules standards and procedures for field work in compliance with CONTRACTOR s Health amp Hygiene regulations and the Company requirements and local regulations. 1.3 Initiates and conducts activities for Health amp Hygiene Monitoring based on Project Health amp Hygiene Procedures. 1.4 Coordinates with Subcontractors and external resources to organize inspection. 1.5 Participates in subcontractor kick-off meetings to review and comment on subcontractor Health amp Hygiene plans and ensures corrections are made and implemented. 2. COORDINATION 2.1 Assists the Field SHES Director in establishing the site Health amp Hygiene policy. 2.2 Maintains close coordination with Authorities and the COMPANY s Health amp Hygiene in charge on Health amp Hygiene matters. 2.3 Coordinates with Other group managers and Subcontractors to organize and presides over the Health amp Hygiene committee. 3. OPERATION 3.1 Checks construction plans for Health amp Hygiene before starting work and discusses work plans with the Construction Manager Superintendents and Subcontractors. 3.2 Ensures a clean work site by supervising a site house-keeping at least once a week. Requests all personnel on site to participate. 3.3 Conducts 1 Daily Health amp Hygiene checks 2 Health amp Hygiene. 3.4 Conducts 1 Health amp Hygiene education and training 2 Maintaining Health amp Hygiene warning sign board. 3.5 Conducts Health amp Hygiene monitoring as prescribed in the Project Health amp Hygiene Procedures 4. REPORTING 4.1 Reviews Health amp Hygiene incident reports prepared by the line managers and supervisors and reports results to the Construction Director and other managers immediately. Ensures corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence of Health amp Hygiene damages. 4.2 Analyze all incident cases to determine the extent of violation of field Health amp Hygiene standards and develop preventive measures to avoid Health amp Hygiene recurrence. 4.3 Review and approve monthly Health amp Hygiene report and submits it to the Field SHES Director. 4.4 Prepares final construction reports prior to closure of field office. 5. ASSISTANCE 5.1 Conducts Health amp Hygiene audits for subcontractors to ensure that their safety program is implemented. 5.2 Gives assistance to the Health amp Hygiene Auditor from the home office when conducting SHES audits. Providing demonstrable added value to the project activities by raising standards for health and hygiene Maintaining excellent relations with a wide range of stakeholders including line management SHES advisers contractors professional colleagues Re-assuring an adequately functioning health management system for the project aiming at best practices.
