They are currently seeking a Business Development Manager with high expertise in the UPSTREAM SECTOR identifying developing and managing new customer relationships within the oil and gas process facilities sector. Coordinate the sourcing and selection process for major contractors including bidder pre-qualification requests for bids bid evaluation and negotiation. Manage contract compliance. Lead the negotiations of major contracts. Review EPC contractor s request for changes to any terms or condition of the EPC contract and assess benefit to company. Recommend to project manager changes to terms conditions which are solely to company s benefit. Coordinate insurance finance tax legal HSE etc. for major contracts. Coordinate insurance and risk management across all projects with major contractors. Interface with Project Management Engineering Construction Project Controls Risk Management Legal Tax Treasury HSE QA QC and other stakeholders as required. Develop and manages the projects contracts administration procedures Manage assigned staff and provides contracts functional guidance to project contracts personnel and other stakeholders. Coordinate and implement cross project contracting knowledge to add value and minimize cost and risk to projects Ongoing project contracts and procurement risk review and mitigation. Provide guidance to the project teams to ensure compliance with JV procurement guidelines and policies for procurement under the EPC packages Control and report on the status of all procurement activities across all EPC packages Review and approve time sheets Over Time Requests MMRs and Business Travel Requests. Maintain a log of EPC contractor s requests for Variations and monitor the status of their resolution Review analyze requests for Variations submitted by EPC contract with respect to their validity man-hour estimate cost estimate and time impact mitigate the cost time impact where possible . and recommend to PM the position to be taken in response to such claims including need for negotiation negotiation strategy and negotiation limits. Assure all contracting implementation is consistent with the laws of the host country and partners home countries. Recommend to project manager claims avoidance mitigation strategies that would lead to dispute resolution. Participate with Legal in arbitrations or legal actions concerning capital project contracts. Monitor contracts progress and payment status and ensures that appropriate reporting of project contracts status is provided to Project Management and other stakeholders. Ensure that all project contracts are appropriately closed out handed over to Operations.

Job Profile You will be the sole Reservoir Engineer within the recently formed New Business team which has been formed in order to expand the company s asset base through acquisitions.
