A leading Global Engineering company is looking to appoint a Lead Industrial Hygienist ideally you will speak French also. You will be working on a major Mining Infrastructure project based in Guinea West Africa. This is a permanent position on a base salary of 60-80k project uplifts. Key Responsibilities Experience Highly motivated individual with proven track record of satisfying client needs in Industrial Hygiene Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Services including performing industrial hygiene and safety audits on the project site in the field air testing and monitoring asbestos and lead abatement planning and management. Responsible for performing Health and Hygiene Risk Assessments for chemical radiological physical and biological potential exposures and developing an industrial hygiene sampling plan based on the risk. Responsible for assisting the Business Unit Leaders and the Corporate Industrial Hygienist in providing a safe and healthy workplace utilizing engineering controls and personal protective equipment based upon results of the Risk and Exposure Assessments. Waste Water Treatment Plant Lead Maintenance Technician A brand new Waste Water Treatment Plant has recently been built to service over 30 000 military and civilian personnel at Kandahar Airport in Afghanistan. As the Lead Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for managing the maintenance team at the plant to ensure the smooth operation of the facility. In addition to being responsible for the maintenance of the Waste Water Treatment Plant the Lead Technician will also responsible for other off site facilities including pumping stations. General Duties Oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance for all of the plant s electrical electronic mechanical and plumbing systems. Assigns and or directs the activities of maintenance personnel in conjunction with the Utilities Coordinator and the Waste Water Plant Supervisor using maintenance management software TMA . Liaise with all customer representatives resolve all issues and concerns and promote and maintain an excellent client relationship Attend all Site and HSE meetings and report any concerns to Management.
