Phase 2 Project phase up to and including start-up Participates in the preparation of the blueprint design for SAP UNISUP project design workshops documentation review by providing information and gap discussions as key user. Participates during the realization phase by preparing the data and user acceptance testing. Participates during the final preparation stage by delivering training and perform the dry-run and cutover. Participates during the go-live stage by providing system usage end user support and business warehouse BW training. Ensures the principles of RBI FAME are incorporated in the SAP UNISUP system. Phase 3 Normal plant operation Performs inspection support activities in LNG plant production of 6 7 MT Y worth more than 900 MUSD Y 4 process turbo compressors about 87 MW each 4 GE Frame 5 power generators 125 pressure vessels 72 heat exchangers 2 storage tanks 14 submerges LNG pumps 3 cooling water pumps 102 pumps of smaller size 3 LNG loading arms 3 Boilers and all piping work to connect all equipment JOB CONTEXT Describe the background and operating environment of the job Work Contacts phase3 Internal contacts on a frequent basis with other BalHaf engineers and other Sana a technical support departments to plan coordinate oversee and discuss all matters related to LNG inspection methods in mid and long term operations. External contacts on a periodic basis with contractor s representatives with equipment plant vendor s representatives and third party certification bodies. Independence of Operations Works independently on broad assignments guided by Company objectives and professional engineering standards. Work accomplishments are subject to senior management review and discussion. Supervisory Responsibility No supervisory responsibility JOB CONTENTS PROBLEM SOLVING Clarify and describe duties ... HSE 1. Responsible for the application of NLG HSE Policy and national regulations in his area of activities. 2. Carries out specific duties related to the job such as revision of documentation procedures and other related documents. 3. May be called to participate in near misses analyses HAZOPs technical reviews risk assessment safety audits etc. Phase 2 Project phase up to and including start-up. 4. Acts as inspection key user during the SAP UNISUP project implementation. Participates during the realization phase by preparing the data and user acceptance testing. 5. Participates during the final preparation stage by delivering training and perform the dry-run and cutover. 6. Ensures all data provided by MIEC is included in SAP UNISUP. 8. Participates in the review and comment of the MIEC study particularly the computerized maintenance and inspection system and the templates to be loaded in it. 9. Supports the elaboration of the inspection policy and strategy. 10. Participates in the preparation of baseline inspection including the pipeline between KPU and Balhaf. 11. Sets up the inspection methods and procedures. Phase 3 Normal plant operations. 12. Prepares the methods and procedures to be implemented for the mid and long term inspection programs and activities. Provides technical support in the short term as required by site inspection. Prepares all special intervention inspection activities in term of methods and procedures. 13. Ensures that LNG site inspection uses appropriate inspection methods and procedures in accordance with recognized codes and standards. 14. Perform technical and quality inspection audits to ensure the compliance with the standards and codes. 15. Updating of the computerised system for the management of inspection activities and data acquisition SAP UNISUP FAME . 16. Ensures regular updating of inspection technical documentation data base of vessels PSV s inspection programs inspection reports and maintain the statutory documentation of certifications of pressure vessels. 17. Prepares annual inspection budget. 18. Prepares monthly reports specifications methods procedures... to be further submitted to higher management. Physical Effort 15 - Driving standing and walking during visits to process or offsite units and other working areas. Work Conditions 100 - Normally air-conditioned office environment except in the visits to the plant which will be exposed to heat humidity dust grease noise and fumes . Extensive knowledge of OPERCOM methodology. Coordinate and supervise Flange Management and HP Leak Test activities for the LNG Trains. Able to communicate with and to work alongside all Company Contractor and Vendors personnel. Fluent spoken written English Arabic would be an advantage. Senior Commissioning Engineer with a minimum of 15 years commissioning experience some of which shall have been in LNG Plant commissioning activities. Previous work as HP Leak Test Coordinator in a major project previous experience of client projects would be a distinct advantage. Previous work experience on major projects in the Middle East would be an advantage.
