I am currently looking for a Fire Fighting Protection Systems and Fire Fighting Equipments Training Instructor to work for my client in Yemen on a long term contract. You must be degree qualified in a Fire and Safety discipline or equivalent Have significant experience in Fire Fighting Protection Systems and Fire Fighting Equipments in the oil and gas refining or petrochemical industry ideally LNG plants. You will be responsible for the application of the HSE policy and HSE national regulations in its areas of activities. You will be reporting to and liaising with the Fire fighting Superintendent through various phases of the project from commissioning to operations You will also have a number of years experience in a training capacity These phases will involve the pre-commissioning commissioning and start up stages of the plant where you will review project documentation attend vendor in house training witness and verify Fire Training facilities Fire Protection Systems and Fire Fighting Equipments installation and performance. You will assist in following up system punch lists up to completion carry out equipment run tests ready for acceptance. You will also be involved in the Normal Plant Operation and design and implement the fire training operation to all trainees engineers and supervisors and give expertise on maintenance and equipment testing. Experience in these tools and equipment is essential Fixed foam system fixed dry chemical system fixed water deluge fixed water spray fixed fire and gas system fixed fire water pump refilling unit agents mobile and portable fire extinguishers and fire fighting and rescue equipment. You will be constantly reviewing coordinating and discussing matters related to LNG plant FPS and FFE fire fighting operational emergency situations.
