Senior New Ventures Geoscientist My Client is looking for an experienced Geoscientist for their Global Exploration and New Business team based in Copenhagen. The position The New Business team performs a variety of industry country and assets analyses including competitor and deal evaluation. In addition they maintain and develop relations with governments industry peers and investment banks. As Senior Geoscientist you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of senior professionals performing technical assessments of new business opportunities. Your tasks will include regional basin screening prospect and field studies as well as screening and evaluation of new business opportunities. You should have the following qualifications Solid technical background in multiple upstream disciplines and workstation skills in exploration geology and geophysics Broad experience from a variety of countries basins plays and fields Ability to interact with other technical specialists to evaluate petroleum systems and perform play analysis Strong analytical skills and commercial understanding of the upstream business A team player with good communication skills Proficiency in English both written and spoken
