Salary: £55000 - £60000 per annum
Our client has come to the UK with an excellent reputation for Design Project Management and Construction work in the Power Sector. They are intend on developing business in the Thermal Power Sector Renewable Power Sector and The Nuclear Power Sector. As a result they are looking for a Construction Manager with experience in one or more of these areas. Ideally applications will come from candidates that have a have a long working experience in large power plant retrofits. Experience working on new build Coal Fired Power Plants is also highly desirable. Candidates will ideally come from a Mechanical Civil or Electrical Background and should be qualified to Degree level. The required professional experience will include approaching 10 years experience working on Power Plant related projects and this experience ideally gained from working on Clean Coal or CCGT Power Projects. Candidates should have Site Manager or Site Superintendent experience and therefore gained knowledge in Construction activity planning and management civil construction steel structure erection pipe prefabrication and erection instrumentation and electric installation insulation scaffolding painting and coal boiler retrofit works Warehouse organisation Working Units Cost Units Construction activities estimation Candidates will also have experience in - Quality Control and Quality Assurance for site activities e.g. positive material identification and test procedures Material management Commissioning and Start Up activities Working for our client will offer you the chance to establish yourself in a vibrant and growing team.
