My Client is a multi-disciplinary consultancy providing Technical Commercial and Project Management Support services in the fields of operations geoscience engineering and HS E to the energy sector worldwide. They are embarking on a major programme of further expansion in this sector and are seeking the right individual to support this expansion with immediate involvement in high profile flagship energy projects. Principal Geologist Oxfordshire Main Responsibilities Acting as Senior Project Manager responsible for all aspects of Project Management. Undertake geological evaluations as designated. Contribute to multi-disciplinary studies of fields prospects and wells. Technical representation Liaise with clients Produce reports and licence applications to tight deadlines. Experience Required The candidate should possess Higher degree M.Sc PhD in Geology or Earth Sciences. Have direct experience of the oil industry. Strong knowledge of geological basics needed for evaluations and volumetric estimations. Basic understanding of petrophysics and reservoir evaluation. Experience of industry software would be an advantage. Knowledge of drilling operations. Ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary projects. Be able to work to tight deadlines and deliver.
