Global Subject Matter Expert - Deepwater Drilling Position Summary An international operating company is looking to identify a technical expert to head up their international deepwater drilling division in their corporate head office. Duties Responsibilities As the subject matter expert you will provide technical support to the global business units advising assisting deepwater drilling operations ensuring deepwater operations are conducted in a safe efficient manner and developing all technical standards procedures guidelines for deepwater drilling activities. You will also be responsible for educating the company s deepwater drilling teams and supervising the training of young engineers. The global expert will be responsible for developing and utilising new technologies within deepwater drilling completions and ensuring that all lessons learnt are captured for the company s benefit. Background The successful candidate will have An engineering degree or equivalent Significant experience within international deepwater operations preferably with experience of projects in GoM Brazil West Africa Europe South East Asia. Experience as a Senior Drilling Engineer or Drilling Superintendent is considered a must.
