My client is an international medium sized operator. You will be a core member of the Global New Ventures exploration team. The team is responsible for strategic analysis of global undiscovered resources and developing trends in the upstream sector the screening and capture of new exploration acreage and characterizing target basins for capture of discovered resources. Within the NV team the New Ventures Geoscientist positions will form the New Ventures Opportunity Capture Team and will be accountable for delivering fit-for-purpose basin play and prospect asset characterizations as the basis for recommendations for new acreage capture. You will have a proven track record of hydrocarbon discovery and prospect generation and significant exposure to numerous basins in particular W.Africa and SE Asia. In return my client can offer an extremely generous benefits package including shares packages and a bonus scheme allowing up to 50 of the base salary.
